I've been completely out of the loop lately, and I apologize, but I think I'm finally recovered from my trip to the UK.  Needless to say it was an awesome trip.  Despite being nearly entirely devoted to work it was still pretty incredible.  I absolutely adore London and we also got to see a bit of the countryside in Nottingham (where I kid you not there is a Robin Hood reference on pretty much every street corner), and spend some time in Birmingham.  Oh and the food was amazing, I don't think we had a bad meal while we were there... one of the many perks of travelling with your boss on the company dime.  Seriously as draining as overseas travel may be, it's completely worth the exhaustion and I certainly hope I get to do it some more in the future even if there isn't a whole lot of time to play tourist while I'm there.  On an unrelated note I just figured out how to get e-mail notifications when people comment!  I apologize to those of you who have left comments that I didn't respond to... hopefully I'll be better about that in the future!
