Transatlanticism
Well I'm sitting in Terminal 2 at McCarran, patiently waiting to kick off the ten hour flight to the UK. Fortunately I get to check out Virgin Atlantic, which I've been eager to fly for ages now (sadly I'm only going premium economy and not Upper Class... Upper Class looks awesome, and it's Bond's choice for air travel in Quantum of Solace, but it's like a $4500 round trip ticket... one of these days...). While I may be going over on business, I can't wait to spend some time in a real city... even if it is for work, and I'm really excited to see some of the places I didn't make it to the last time I was over there. Honestly, I already know getting on that plane to return to Reno is going to be painful, but I have visitors coming in February, am planning to go to New York in March, and am seriously considering Coachella in April... if that all lines up my Reno depression should remain dormant for a few months at least.
